Pre-qualify leads with an AI agent

Walk into the meeting already knowing who they are, what they need and whether there is budget.

When demand generation works, the next problem shows up: half the leads have no budget, no urgency, or are not the decision-maker — and you find out by spending half an hour of a senior person's time on a call. A pipeline full of the wrong conversations is more expensive than a small one.

This is work AI genuinely does well, because the judgement is repeatable: ask the same questions, cross the answers with what is already known about the company, and rank. And there is a second effect that often matters more than the triage — replying in two minutes instead of two days, at the hour they wrote, is frequently the difference between speaking to them and your competitor speaking to them.

What can be delivered

  • Qualification criteria written down and agreed with the people who sell — without that the agent invents its own
  • An agent that talks to the lead on the channel they arrived through, and asks the questions that matter
  • Automatic enrichment: sector, size, public signals, whatever is already in the CRM
  • Scoring and routing, with good leads booking into the right calendar and the rest getting an honest answer
  • Immediate escalation to a person when the lead is large, is sensitive, or asks to speak to someone
  • Full conversation logging in the CRM, so the meeting starts informed

The skills this mobilises

How long it takes

Three to six weeks, with a phase where the agent qualifies and the team double-checks before the scoring is trusted. That phase exists to reveal what it gets wrong — and it always gets something wrong at first.

When this is the right outcome

Choose this when more leads arrive than the team can triage properly, or when time to first reply is already costing you deals. At five leads a week it is not worth it: triage is a read-through, and the agent is spend on a problem you do not have.
