The roster

How someone gets into the pool.

There is no open sign-up with automatic approval. Every person is reviewed by someone, and most do not get in.

  1. 01

Portfolio reviewed by someone who knows

We don't look at a CV, we look at work done — and at what the person declares was exactly theirs in each piece. The difference between "I worked on this campaign" and "I art-directed this campaign" is the difference between getting in and not.

  2. 02

    The agency short-list test

The question we ask of every application is simple: would this person make a short-list we'd put in front of a demanding client? If the answer is "maybe", it's no.

  3. 03

    A conversation, not a form

Whoever passes the review talks to someone on the team. It exists to understand how they work, how they communicate when something goes wrong, and whether the portfolio matches what they can explain.

  4. 04

    Real rate and availability

Each person sets their own rate and keeps their availability current in the portal. A profile with six-month-old availability ranks lower in consultations — and they know it.

They join by invitation and reviewed portfolio. If they wouldn't make one of our agency short-lists, they don't get in here.

Tell us the problem. We'll tell you who solves it.

Half an hour of conversation. If it isn't work for us, we say so in that conversation.
